1. The appellant was convicted after trial on a charge of assault and attempt to rob. He is appealing against that conviction and has appeared today in person. He has put forward quite a number of reasons in support of his appeal. However in a long and careful review of the evidence, the trial magistrate has covered virtually all the points raised by the appellant. He had the advantage of seeing and hearing the witnesses give their evidence, including the appellant. It is essentially a matter of credibility and I can find no fault in the magistrate's reasoning.

2. In all the circumstances, the appeal is dismissed.
