J U D G M E N T

1. The applicant has put forward compassionate grounds in an attempt to justify a reduction in the sentences which have been imposed. Having regard to all the circumstances I do not think that it has been demonstrated that the sentences which were imposed were in any way excessive. Leave is accordingly refused.

2. If the applicant decides to proceed with the appeal notwithstanding the fact that leave has been refused, she takes the risk that if the Court is of the view that the appeal is unmeritorious it may order that part of the time which she serves in custody will not count towards the sentence she is serving.
