J U D G M E N T

1. This is a petition by CMG Asia Ltd., an insurance company, against its former agent, Mr Leon Valiant Scheman, based on a debt in the sum of HK$316,476.56. The debt arose out of the debtor's obligations under an agency agreement dated 10 June 1999, a manager's agreement dated 11 June 1999 and a guaranteed income agreement dated 7 June 1999.

2. A statutory demand was served on the debtor personally on 20 March 2001. The petition herein was filed on 11 April 2001 and served on the debtor personally on 26 April 2001. This petition has been adjourned several times due to the debtor's opposition and his application for legal aid.

3. At the hearing today, I was told by the debtor that he no longer wishes to oppose the petition and he admits the debt in question.

4. In the circumstances, I make a bankruptcy order against him with costs to the petitioner.
