J U D G M E N T
_______________
1. This is a petition presented by Liang Weifeng against Developing Engineering Limited (“the Company”), based on an award of $1,250.00 with interest and costs obtained by the petitioner against the Company in the Labour Tribunal on 3 April 2006 and 1 June 2006.
2. The Company is indebted to 4 other employees in the aggregate of $45,314.51 and total costs of $1,400.00 with interest in the above awards.
3. A demand for the above debts was served on the Company on 19 July 2006, and this winding-up petition was presented on 13 November 2006.
4. The petition was adjourned from January 2007 due to the fact that the Company was granted leave to appeal from the Labour Tribunal award. The appeal was heard on 2 August 2007 and it was dismissed.
5. I make an order to wind up the Company. The petitioner’s costs are to be paid out of the Company’s assets.
